‘India’s Got Latent’ Controversy (2025) – In February 2025, while serving as a guest judge on the show ‘India’s Got Latent,’ Ranveer posed a question to a contestant “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop forever?” that was widely deemed inappropriate. The question led to significant backlash on social media, with accusations of promoting obscenity. A police complaint was filed against Ranveer, Samay raina and apporva mukherjee aka rebel kid and other associated individuals. In response, Ranveer issued a public apology, acknowledging his lapse in judgment and confirming the removal of the controversial segment from the show’s recordings.
