Dave Chappelle is an American stand-up comedian and actor, who is popularly known for co-creating, writing and starring in the impeccable television sketch comedy program, ‘Chappelle’s Show’, which ended up due to his early retirement.

He realized his natural talent of making people laugh at the age of 14 and moved to New York to pursue it further. His quirky remarks and comic timings are two of his distinguished skills. Apart from stand-up comedies, Chappelle has also starred in a number of movies in minor, yet noteworthy roles.

‘Comedy Central’ ranked Dave Chappelle as one of the best comedians for being a bold and versatile actor-comedian, known for his unique sense of humor and guilelessness. His comedies were based on the realities of his life – being born black in the capital city of the US.

He constantly refused to change his style of focus from African-American point of view, to make it a “more acceptable” form of comedy. Dave Chappelle gained fame and success on his own terms, also became popular for his sly social commentary and aggressive satiric style.
