Adi Burjorji Godrej, Chairman of Godrej Group, a global conglomerate headquartered in India, was born on 3rd April 1942 in Mumbai. Apart from being an industrialist and a businessman, he has been the president of several Indian trade and Industrial bodies association. At the age of 17, he was sent to Massachusetts Institute of Technology to pursue mechanical engineering but later on, switched to management. After his return to India, he joined the family business and the Godrej Group has been said to flourish ever since.
