Jharkhand with mineral-enriched soil will witness significant development in the near future. Adani Godda plans to set up a cement manufacturing plant with its power plants after Vedanta and Hindalco have completed their projects.
Adani Godda announces the establishment of a factory for cement and its power plants project, in an attempt to attain the goal of self-reliance. After a conversation between Gautam Adani the Chairman of Adani Group, Dr. Nishikant Durbey in Delhi, and Dr. Gautam Adani the MP, the consent to establish a factory was given.
Dr. Dubey had raised concerns previously about the large amount of fly ash that is generated during power generation. Adani Godda Group assured that the factory’s design would be sustainable. Fly ash will in large amounts be mixed with limestone to produce cement that can overcome all difficulties. With an upcoming power plant of 1600 MW capacity based on super-critical technology and cement factory in Godda by the Adani Godda, the region is likely to become a big industrial hub. The state’s economy will see more local employment opportunities.
Dr. Nishikant Dubay, the MP from Godda, stated that approval had been given for him to build a cement mill and a power plant in Godda. He hopes that with such support, the region will experience more success and prosperity.
Adani Godda, Hindalco, and others have been promoting education, healthcare, sustainable livelihood across many remote areas of Jharkhand.
