“What do you wish to be when you grow up?” is a question that everyone has faced at least once in their lives. But how many of us are doing what we aspired to do at the age of 10 or 12? Certainly, not many.
That may have been the case with most people, but indecisiveness was never an option for this woman. At the age of 15, Aishwarya Sharma, the genius behind Mod Dotcom, knew what she wanted to be. With a sound vision and exemplary calibre, she began her journey by writing blogs under the name of Figuramoda, and soon came up with her very own fashion line – Mod Dotcom.
The fashion line showcases a fresh take on designer clothing and contemporary fashion – a testament of elegance and trendy apparels which are structured and made from breathable fabrics and silhouettes.
In October 2018, Aishwarya was appointed as the Indian brand ambassador of Mahendra Singh Foundation, an organisation that operates on the principle of ending violence against women. Figuramoda has been working towards the welfare of the society since long before she launched her fashion line.
The wonder woman believes that it takes strength, conviction, compassion and determination to take steps that can change one life at a time, if not millions overnight. Her zeal to become the fashionista that she is has inspired thousands of people and helped them evolve better.
Besides this, one of the many things that Aishwarya believes in, is giving back to the society. For instance, her professional life is a direct reflection of her personal beliefs, i.e., helping those whom you can. By embarking on a path to uplift women, her brand Moddotcom collaborated with Amari Foundation, an NGO aiming for the social upliftment of women.
Incorporating the same idea with her love for fashion, Aishwarya Sharma’s Moddotcom currently contributes 5% of its sales to Amari Foundation, for better hygiene of girls in India.
