From Beyblades to an Edtech pioneer – The Rise of Vaibhav Sisinty & GrowthSchool

A self-proclaimed growth hacker, Vaibhav Sisinty shot to fame during the COVID pandemic with the launch of his Ed-tech start-up GrowthSchool, which offers crash courses, especially performance marketing courses, for aspiring entrepreneurs. Vaibhav’s innovative approach to education as GrowthSchool CEO and his out-of-the-box thinking has earned him a spot among the top Ed-tech entrepreneurs in India.

Early Education and Family

Born and raised in 1993 in the small town of Orissa, Berhampur, Vaibhav has proven his abilities bigger than his roots. His forte in marketing was developed even before his adolescence. However, he was interested in robotics and dancing during his childhood. He is an example of an intelligent young mind who does not excel in studies but implements fantastic ideas and innovations and begins exploring their fortes at an early age.

“I am a growth hacker by profession and an entrepreneur from heart.”

– Vaibhav Sisinty

He had a tough life during school as his interest in studies was maintained throughout, but his grades reflected the opposite. He lost his loving mother at the age of 10. His father’s strict nature followed even after his mother’s demise, and the frustration combined led to his arrogant behavior. His performance continued to fall, and he became a child of temper. After his teenage years, he was admitted to an engineering college. Not only did he focus on his studies, but he also began a start-up during that time.

Journey as a Marketer

Vaibhav began his journey in Marketing at the age of 8. His first-ever achievement was to sell Beyblades at a hike of 200% straight. At 18, he started “Discovery Android” and gained a milestone of having 1M+ views. However, the stars were not in his favour for long, and the website had to be shut down due to a ban imposed by Google. He then developed a passion for growth marketing.

During his 2nd year of engineering, Vaibhav founded “CrazyHeads”, a digital marketing firm specializing in providing online branding solutions. At a young age, he managed a team of more than a dozen people. He rose at a competitive pace as his diverse client portfolio grew to a thousand across countries worldwide. The rapid growth of “CrazyHeads” brought Vaibhav the “Fast Emerging Digital Media Startup of the Year” award. However, his thirst for adventures made his exit from CrazyHeads in 2015 on to Uber. As a stellar Growth hacker, Vaibhav also helped Uber gain its mark in the industry.

After these short but significant stints, Vaibhav Sisinty’s most notable achievement took its first step during the pandemic in the form of GrowthSchool’s CEO. From his experiences working for several organizations, Sisinty started identifying the gap between traditional education and the dynamic needs of the service industry. As such, through his Ed-tech start-up, his aim was to help individuals get industry ready. By offering crash courses, especially performance marketing courses in India, for all aspiring entrepreneurs, Sisinty enabled individuals to be on par with the industry trends and develop skills to fuel their growth.

Future

Vaibhav Sisinty’s innovative and out-of-the-box approach to education has led to the creation of GrowthSchool, which has been making waves in the Ed-tech industry in India. With numerous accolades under his belt, including being featured by top publications and being invited for guest lectures & workshops, Vaibhav has proven that age is just a number when it comes to entrepreneurship.

By challenging the existing marketing strategies and promoting performance marketing courses in India at a nominal cost, Vaibhav has motivated many aspiring entrepreneurs to enhance their skills and make a mark in the industry. His belief that bookish knowledge is not enough to prepare for modern careers has resonated with many, and his success is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and vision.
