Sunil Godhwani, formerly the head of Religare Enterprises Limited, has been a driving force behind the group and its vision.

Sunil Godhwani has had a tremendous strategic run with Religare and was instrumental in the organization’s growth since his joining in 2001, as Chairman and Managing Director. Sunil Godhwani has also been credited as having been a key force in giving shape to Religare to its current form.

Born and raised in New Delhi, India, Sunil pursued his higher studies internationally. He received a B. Sc. Degree in Chemical Engineering and a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Finance from Polytechnic Institute of New York.
