Ahmed Salman Fazlur Rahman (born 23 May 1951) is a Bangladeshi industrialist.He was ranked 1685th on the list of billionaires in the world published by Beijing-based Hurun Gobal in 2017.He is the current vice chairman of Beximco Group, the largest private sector group in Bangladesh. The company has tremendously grown over the years and today, it has its operations and investments across a diverse group of industries such as textiles, pharmaceuticals, PPE, ceramics, real estate, marine food, etc. It has been actively supplying its products and services within Bangladesh as well as in the international markets.
In addition to his entrepreneurial career, Salman F Rahman has also been serving as the private sector development affairs adviser to the Bangladesh Awami League President Sheikh Hasina since 2009. Currently Rahman is acting as the president of several trade bodies including Association of Television Channel Owners (ATCO).
