News of Romesh Sobti joining the board of Aditya Birla Capital has been making headlines in the past few days. After leading IndusInd Bank successfully, reports have it that the veteran banker will most likely be a nominee of the American global private equity firm, Advent on AB Capital board.
Advent, where Sobti joined as an operating partner, currently holds around 4.15 percent stake in AB Capital with an investment of over Rs 1000 crore.
