Health has launched Red Air Guardian, an air ambulance, India’s largest medical emergency transportation service that aims to save lives in locations with insufficient medical facilities. In an emergency, the service can send patients over large distances to specialized medical facilities in any of India’s more than 550 cities. The company’s fleet comprises eight specialized airplanes with cutting-edge medical technology and a group of trained critical care specialists. Singh declared his commitment to using this new project to achieve the business’s objective of developing a “911 for Indian healthcare”. Prabhdeep Singh’s RED. Health is a medical business that maintains its own fleet of Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances and provides patients with a 15-minute ambulance delivery service.

Prabhdeep Singh’s Career and Vision for a Transformed Medical Industry

Prabhdeep’s journey in medicine began with his exceptional academic achievements. Singh, born to a scientist father and an educationist mother who believed in holistic development and constantly pushed him to learn and participate, displayed talent from an early age- he was a school head boy, topper, quizmaster, and cricketer. After completing a five-year B Pharma and MBA integrated study at Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai, Singh was hired by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals and worked for five years on strategic projects spanning healthcare segments in Brazil, Mexico, and the United States. His second MBA from INSEAD in France landed him a lucrative position with the Boston Consulting Group in Brazil.

Singh believes that a business is an idea that seeks to improve the lives of others. Singh was confident that his proposal would be the ultimate aid and helpline. Prabhdeep Singh’s StanPlus was co-founded in Hyderabad in 2016 after he conceived, planned, and executed the idea with his INSEAD classmates Antoine Poirson and Jose Leon, who have since moved on.

“Many children/ people choose to live apart from their parents.” There is rarely someone to look after them or address their medical emergencies while they are gone. “My parents are also living alone in Mohali, and I am concerned about their health, especially since I was away.”

—- Prabhdeep Singh

Singh has always desired to lead from the front as a people’s leader. Not the Army or the country, but leadership that meant sticking to your guns, persevering, and completing what you begin. Today, Singh manages a 650-person crew and a vast fleet of Red Ambulances, slated to grow by 1,000 with the latest investment.

Unlike in Western countries, where paramedics stabilize patients and focus on on-site treatment, ambulances in India are considered as the only vehicle of conveyance. According to Singh, ambulances are lifelines, so delays, absences, and a lack of paramedical infrastructure on board are upsetting. Singh wonders why an ambulance takes 45 minutes while a grocery store can be reached in ten minutes. There should be no individual who remains helpless in an emergency. He believes that at some point, many Indians suffer by delaying contacting an ambulance and claiming their right to better service.

Unveiling Inspirations that Drive Prabhdeep’s Determination

Prabhdeep shared in an interview, “My father, Dr. Saranjit Singh, frequently advises me to be in ‘charhdikala,’ a condition of optimism and delight. Don’t overthink it, don’t rely on luck, just do your best and leave the rest to chance.” Singh trusts, ‘Anakh naal mehnat’ – work with pride and dignity. He is the first to arrive at work and the last to depart. With passionate zeal, determination, and discipline, Singh never goes a day without reading and expanding his knowledge. He also believes that a helpful partner or spouse is required to create a work-life balance. Singh’s wife is his rock, sounding board, shock absorber, and calming influence.

Driven by a deep sense of responsibility and an unwavering commitment to public service, Prabhdeep is dedicated to serving the nation as a medical leader. His exceptional medical knowledge, compassionate patient care, research contributions, and policy advocacy make him a formidable candidate who looks forward to significantly impacting the nation’s health and well-being.
