Deeksha Suri is the Executive Director of The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, a prominent name in the Indian hospitality industry. As the youngest daughter of Dr. Jyotsna Suri, Chairperson & Managing Director, and Mr. Lalit Suri, Founder Chairman, Deeksha has played a crucial role in driving the company’s vision and growth.
Early Life and Education
Growing up in a family deeply rooted in hospitality, Deeksha developed a passion for the industry early on. She pursued her education with a focus on business and hospitality, earning a first-class Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Hindu College, Delhi University, followed by a Post Graduate Degree in Business Management from the London School of Economics.
Career at The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group
Deeksha took on the role of Executive Director in 2009, overseeing various disciplines including Human Resources, Information Technology, Sales, and Business Process Improvement. She is instrumental in implementing strategic initiatives that have enhanced the operational efficiency and service quality of the group’s properties. Additionally, she heads the Internal Audit functions across the group’s 14 operational properties.
She brings fresh perspective and energy to the core management team and is actively involved in strategic sales plans and the execution of policies aimed at operational excellence. Deeksha focuses on maximizing efficiency through a strong employee value proposition, making The LaLiT a preferred employer. She has also worked on diversity and inclusion policies, positioning herself as a role model for the younger generation.
Prior to joining the family business, Deeksha gained experience as a Business Consultant with the Hay Group, working on strategy and operational issues with leading companies in APAC and EMEA. Beyond her professional life, she is a travel enthusiast and maintains a disciplined personal fitness regime.

Under Deeksha’s leadership, The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group has made significant strides in promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I). She has led programs that provide career opportunities to marginalized communities, including the LGBTQIA+ community, acid attack survivors, and neuro-divergent individuals. Her efforts in creating transparent communication channels and establishing a robust Recognition and Rewards program have been key in reducing staff dissatisfaction and attrition.
