Bina Ramani
Born in Karachi into a prosperous Sindhi- Sikh family. Bina Ramani was the youngest of 9 children and the family migrated to Bombay into a lavish villa which her father exchanged with a wealthy Muslim Businessman. She grew up with much love & affection and a rather strict code of ethics weaned from the scriptures of the Sikh Holy Book, The Granth Sahib.
One by one her brothers went to the UK for their higher studies. By 1959, they had all migrated to London, like many Sindhi business families. Bina went to school in Bombay and continued their studies in the Decorating Arts in London. She also joined the family business in Jewelry Design and gained experience in Sales & Marketing.
She is a designer, entrepreneur, social activist, and author, Bina Ramani is a globally acclaimed visionary in design and lifestyle, known particularly for her passionate path-breaking creations and pioneering work in fashion.
